Choose private label when
You want to launch quickly against an already-reviewed concept, you are comfortable with the catalogue's format and flavour range, and you do not need a proprietary active stack or claim.
DAT Supply offers two public commercial paths: the private-label catalogue and qualified custom development. Both go through the same production and quality-review infrastructure — the difference is where the formula comes from and how many review steps sit between brief and specification sign-off.
You select a published concept (format, flavour, dose anchor) already reviewed by DAT and confirm packaging, label artwork and target market. Formulation risk is lower because the base concept has already been through formulation and stability review; the brief stage is mostly a configuration exercise.
You bring a concept that does not exist in the catalogue yet — a specific active stack, dose, format or claim positioning. DAT scopes feasibility first, then moves through formulation, sample rounds and specification sign-off before production. More review steps, and the timeline depends on the complexity of the brief.
Both paths produce the same specification and batch documentation package once the formula is locked and production runs — the difference is upstream, in how the formula gets confirmed, not in what ships with the batch.

Your concept needs an active combination, dose or positioning that is not in the catalogue, or your brand needs a formula no other client can also launch.
